Anatomy 101

Apparently I need more help than I imagined. It turns out our little boy, is in fact a little girl. I swear the part looked like a boy! I was assured I'm not the only one to have done this, but the boy part is higher ont he belly.

So now I'm starting back to square one on picking a name. We were thinking of going with Sarge when we thought she was a he. Geez.

Someone help me

Joe has managed to bring home something. Something I asked him repeatedly not to. Something that was insistent about waiting on.
But that was me, hoping. Joe doesn't listen to me all the time.

So I am here to introduce ....
our new member in our TEENY home

Please don't ask how it happened, I'm still not sure!

Oh, if you have any cute boy names, I'm all ears.

I am trying to think of something creative, not a persons name. Something unique. Ugh

** I changed the picture. Shows his size better.

Crickets

I am sitting here watching as Joe puts on his new uniform. Today is his first night on. He's a Corrections officer at one of our jails.

I dealt with Joe working many nights in addition to plenty of time apart due to "trips" and we did fine. No biggie. It did take me awhile to get used to though. Nights alone. Even on a military base, fenced in, patrolled hourly by guards. Alone, takes awhile to get used to. Now those nights start again and I do not have the guards. I feel less independent saying this, but nights alone are kinda scary. We are in the country and there are some interesting sounds. Tonight we are having a decent storm too. I have a pot ready to go for the morning, I have a feeling I will be needing some STRONG coffee.
