Scavenger

Joe and I enjoy going to the weekly antique market, although we don't always come home with something it's still fun to see what people are trying to sell. Even the old used shoes.

Last weekend we happened upon these lamps and I just love them. After scrubbing they are even lovelier.

Paid off, finally.

I've waited two years, two frustrating years for little seeds to bloom and today they finally did. This is the fruit of that labor, isn't it beautiful? It's a passion flower, or Passiflora.
If you notice there's another one about to open right next to it!

Oouch!

Today our pup had a surgery, she got put under anesthesia which scares me; but our new vet was wonderful. This woman sees so many animals on base and she manages to remember my pup's name, which made me smile. She actually took care of her personally. I'm so impressed with her especially since she understood how special my pup is to me.

I am happy to report she is home safe and sound with only one original piece is missing.

Don't answer even when asked.

When you joke around about your birthday being a month away and the thirteen year old who's helping you in the office turns to you and asks how old you are and they then guess way older than you are. Don't be offended.
